Ben Frost released his fifth studio album The Centre Cannot Hold on 29 September 2017. Recorded over ten days by Steve Albini in Chicago, it is a document of an event, a room and the composer within it.
An exercise in limitation and chromatic saturation, The Centre Cannot Hold attempts to transcribe a spectrum of glowing ultramarine into sound.
