Daníel Bjarnason & Sam Amidon in NYC

Daníel Bjarnason will be performing at a Processions album-launch in NYC on March 3rd. He has assembled a 17 piece chamber orchestra especially for the occasion, featuring cellist Sæunn Þorsteinsdóttir, one of the soloists from Processions.

Opening the night will be no other than our very own Sam Amidon, who will be performing some material from his upcoming album I See The Sign.

The concert will take place at (Le) Poisson Rouge
158 Bleecker St (at Thompson St)

Wednesday March 3rd at 7:30pm

What the press says

Processions deserves to be [Bjarnason's] global breakthrough. It’s the sound of fire and instinct, the musical equivalent of a controlled burn. Perhaps all sounds to silence come, but thanks to Bjarnason, that sonic Armageddon seems a long distance away.
