Ben Frost is one of 64 artists from around the world featured on the five-hour compilation Benefit for the Recovery in Japan, dedicated to the victims and the survivors, their families and the aid workers. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of the compilation will go directly towards the recovery and relief effort.

According to Thrill Jockey's Fina-Music online digital store, Benefit for the Recovery in Japan was "created with the goal of providing immediate and tangible aid in the relief, recovery, and rebuilding that will take place over the coming days, months, and years".

Ben's contribution to the compilation is the previously unreleased "Snæugla" ("Snow Owl). Other artists include Tim Hecker, Fennesz, Akron/Family, The Ex, Rhys Chatham and Sylvain Chauveau.

The compilation, modestly priced at $15.00, can be bought via the Fina-Music website.
