Bedroom Community

Having laid low during last year's renown Iceland Airwaves music festival, Bedroom Community returns this year with a bang.

Iceland Airwaves takes place on October 12th - October 16th. Bedroom Community artists participating in the 2011 official programme are Puzzle Muteson, Valgeir Sigurðsson and Daníel Bjarnason along with Ben Frost who will play an exclusive off-venue set.

In true festival spirit, we've compiled a four-song EP with those artists for your listening pleasures. Download the EP for free here!

Puzzle will perform with a band at the classic Bedroom Community venue Iðnó, an old theater by the city pond, on Friday October 14th and Ben will perform his 'Music For 6 Guitars' at an off-venue concert at Kaffibarinn.

Valgeir and Daníel will join no other than the Iceland Symphony Orchestra for its first-ever Airwaves concert, performing Valgeir's Dreamland and Daníel's Processions and Emergence. The show will take place in the Eldborg concert hall at Harpa - Reykjavík's new concert hall on Thursday October 13th. The performance is free for festival wristband holders, but note that tickets are available as well here.

Our annual Kaffibarinn off-venue concerts will take place on Thursday, Friday and Saturday with performances by Bedroom Community artists & friends of the label. Free entrance, full lineup below along with our full schedule of Bedroom Community / Airwaves events!

And finally, Everything Everywhere All The Time will be screened daily at Bíó Paradís during the festival so make sure you don't miss it! We even hear Puzzle Muteson might bring his guitar...
