BEN FROST

A resident of Iceland and close collaborator of Valgeir Sigurðsson Australian born Ben Frost produces work both locally and abroad in various forms including installations, work for film and dance, and has already released several widely-acclaimed albums such as 2003’s guitar exploration ‘Steel Wound’ on the Room40 Label which Pitchfork Media USA noted as ‘...An exemplary ambient experience’ and the harrowing self-titled opus ‘School of Emotional Engineering’ in 2005.

NICO MUHLY

A Graduate of the Juilliard School for composition, Vermont-born Nico Muhly has been causing significant ripples in modern music circles with a variety of projects. Nico has collaborated closely with artists as diverse as Antony (from Antony and the Johnsons) and Philip Glass, with whom he's had a long-standing relationship working on numerous stage works & film scores. He performed on Björk's album ‘Medúlla’ and helped arrange her score for Matthew Barney's ‘Drawing Restraint 9’ film and arranged some strings for a new Bonnie 'Prince' Billy album ‘The Letting Go’.

SAM AMIDON

Singer-banjoist Sam Amidon's repertoire is made up of adapted American folk songs, but he puts a unique stamp on the material with his gentle, eerily deadpan voice and subtle arrangements. His first album (as Samamidon, together with Thomas Bartlett) was But This Chicken Proved Flasehearted and the followup album All is Well is out now on Bedroom Community. Sam was born in Brattleboro, Vermont, June 3, 1981. His parents are Peter and Mary Alice Amidon.

VALGEIR SIGURÐSSON

Best known for his work as a collaborator and producer Valgeir has for the past decade provided a breeding ground for numerous local and international artists in his Greenhouse Recording Studios in Reykjavik, Iceland. He steps forward with the Bedroom Community label, and released his long due solo album titled Ekvílibríum in September 2007.
